How it all began
Michelle started RedPanda in 2010. This momentous year saw the birth of RedPanda and also her first child. With a solid background in the Graphic Design industry Michelle wanted to create designs that were accessible, unique and affordable for those who love creativity and quality. Michelle also wanted to combine her passion for design with her love of the environment, with the aim of being environmentally responsible in all of her business practices including packaging, paper and printing methods. With many creative friends she would also like to expose and embrace other artists in her store.

Paper and the Environment
If the environment is important to you and you like to make informed decisions when it comes to choosing your paper goods, then look no further.
All of RedPanda’s greeting cards are printed digitally on 100% recycled Cyclus paper.
Now often there is alot of energy and water used when treating waste paper. However Cyclus’ water is re-circulated twelve times before being cleaned in their very own biological plant. Each tonne of Cyclus that is produced uses 60% less water than virgin paper. Once the waste paper is washed, alot of the residue is then used as energy for heating in the local area. There is no bleach or chlorine used to treat the raw pulp either. They also have a really cool website you can go to for more info: www.cyclus.dk Take the ‘Do you Compromise?’ test. It’s a piece of fun!
Certification: Cyclus is comprehensively certified: Blue Angel eco-label, EU Ecolabel, ISO 14001 and EMAS.
